Lou Allen jewelry is designed in our Soho studio and made to order by artisans and craftsmen in New York City. We work with local, family owned businesses in New York and honor traditional goldsmithing techniques. We oversee all elements of production to ensure the highest standards. All Lou Allen jewelry is handmade, all our stones are hand selected and subtle variations in detail and finish occur from piece to piece. After placing your order at www.louallen.com, please allow 2 days for your order to be processed. Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email with estimated delivery date. Items in stock will ship within 2 - 3 days, otherwise items will be made to order and ship within 2 - 4 weeks of your order being placed. If the item is ready before the alloted time, we will ship as soon as it is complete. Upon completion of your order, we will notify you via email and provide a shipping tracking number. Lou Allen reserves the right to refuse sales or cancel orders placed by a customer in violation of the sites terms or as otherwise determined by the company.
Lou Allen accepts the following credit cards, American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Sales Tax is applicable on all orders shipped within New York State at the current local rate. Orders shipped outside of New York State are not liable for Sales Tax. For all International Orders, local duties and fees are the responsiblitiy of the customer.
All orders are processed and shipped Monday to Thursday from 9am - 6pm and Friday 9am - 1pm. All orders placed after 1pm on Friday will be processed the following week. Orders shipping within the Continental US ship via UPS, 2nd Day Air, at a flat rate of $25.00. All packages are insured with tracking and require a signature upon delivery. Lou Allen does not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Orders shipping within the Non Continental US ship via UPS, 2nd Day Air at a flat rate of $45.00. All packages are insured with tracking and require a signature upon delivery. All International Orders are shipped via UPS, at a flat rate of $75.00. All packages are insured with tracking and require a signature upon delivery. International packages are subject to customs fees in the country of destination. Custom Duties and Taxes are not included in shipping costs. Lou Allen will include all necessary documentation for customs clearance, however Lou Allen is not responsible for any duties or taxes incurred by the country we are shipping to. Payment of any custom duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. Items that are unclaimed by a customer and are returned to our studio will not be reshipped unless all incurred fees are paid for by the customer. All our packages are fully insured, Lou Allen does not refund any lost or stolen packages.
Lou Allen offers the option to cancel your order within 24 hours of receiving your order confirmation with estimated delivery date. If we do not receive a notice of cancellation within 24 hours, your order will go into production and our return policy will apply. If you decide to cancel your order within the 24 hour window, we will process your payment for refund.
At this time we do not accept returns.

At Lou Allen, quality and craftmanship is important. For all repair enquires please email customerservice@louallen.com. Please include your name, order number and repair issue. It is helpful to include a description and photo of the damage. After we review your request, you will be provided with a Repair Autorisation Number and shipping instructions. Lou Allen will repair at no charge any breakage caused by manufacturer defect within 120 days of receipt of goods. Repairs needed after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customers expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis and communicated prior to the repair process beginning. We will only accept repairs for items purchased at www.louallen.com. Repairs for items purchased at one of our retailers must be returned through the original point of purchase and cannot be accepted at the studio.
