Parlour Palms

A stroll and afternoon tea amidst the gardens of the Barbican conservatory lead to the Parlour Palm collection.

The minimal structure of brutalist architecture contrasting with the delicate, elongated palm fronds inspired the forms in this first collection from Lou Allen.

The collection explores the contradicting ideas of strength and femininity, urban attitude and delicate organic forms. The colours are characterized by bold greens, soft opaques and glass colours of Deco and Modernist movements.
